Rod hinges with gooseneck and double joint for movable, flush-mounted designs
Hinges connect components and ensure that doors, flaps or panels can be moved reliably. Things become more challenging when enclosure fronts are required to be flush-mounted, or when edges, profiles and seals get in the way when opening. This calls for hinges that do more than simply connect. For such applications, norelem offers particularly flexible rod hinges with a gooseneck and an integrated double joint.
For enclosures and panels with flush-mounted fronts and complex installation scenarios, norelem’s rod hinges offer two specialised solutions: gooseneck and double-joint designs. Both variants ensure that doors and flaps can be moved safely and in a space-saving manner, even where there are obstructive contours.
Rod hinges with gooseneck: flexible, precise and robust
The rod hinges with gooseneck are mounted inside the enclosure and are suitable for applications where the hinges are not to be visible. This protects them from vandalism, dirt and the elements. Typical areas of application include control cabinet construction, machine and vehicle manufacturing, as well as high-quality furniture and interior fittings.
They are available in two versions: with a 90-degree opening angle for space-saving, right-angled openings, and with a 120-degree opening angle for particularly convenient access during maintenance and servicing work.
